Lychee Martini
A cocktail that was highly requested by a lot of people when I did my cocktail Instagram poll. Turns out, it’s also one of my favourite cocktails too, so here we go!
The vibe
You’re the model from Peter Andre’s ‘Mysterious Girl’ music video frolicking in a lagoon and Peter Andre glides over and hands you one of these.
The taste
Sweet, crisp, honestly there are no adequate words to describe this perfection.
Ingredients
- 30ml vodka
- 10ml dry vermouth, optional
- 15ml lychee liqueur
- 15ml lychee syrup from the can
- 2 canned lychees
- 2 cups of ice
Method
- Fill your martini glass with ice to chill down whilst you make your cocktail.
- Place vodka, dry vermouth, lychee liquor, lychee syrup, 1 lychee and ice into a cocktail shaker. Close the lid and shake for 5-10 seconds until the shaker is fully chilled.
- Throw out the ice in your martini glass and place your second lychee into the glass as the garnish.
- Strain the cocktail into your glass
- Enjoy!
